My life calling, besides being a Christian husband and father, is to teach other people that they can believe the Bible. But In my daily Bible reading, while reading Proverbs, I was reminded of just how much wisdom there is in the Bible.
Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon, began his support of the LGBTQ agenda in 2012 with a $2.5 million donation to support a proposition for same-sex “marriage” in Washington State.1 He did not realize that he was making a deal with the devil. The very people that are supportive of the LGBTQ agenda are the people that villainize big business like Amazon for actually being successful, creating jobs, and heaven forbid – making money!
Bernie Sanders is a big supporter of the LGBTQ agenda.2 Bernie Sanders has been attacking Amazon for not paying employees a “livable wage” while owner Jeff Bezos is worth $155 billion.3 And Sanders has wanted to sick the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on Amazon.4
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has long been a supporter of the LGBTQ agenda.5 The ACLU got after Amazon for selling facial recognition software to government agencies.6
The City of Seattle actually has an LGBTQ Commission that advises the mayor and city council on making policy.7 Amazon was upset about Seattle passing a “head tax” for businesses like Amazon and Star Bucks to pay for homelessness, for which they are being blamed.8 Now, the LGBTQ community is pressuring Amazon not to locate in pro-business states like Texas; because they are not “LGBTQ friendly.”9
Jeff Bezos is reportedly a Christian.10 And I certainly do not know what his true convictions are. But Bezos is owner of the Washington Post.11 A Washington Post August 23, 2018 article — “A challenge to Darwin’s branching view of evolution” by Jerry A. Coyne – concluded “Our closest relative is the chimpanzee.”12 Coyne is a University of Chicago professor emeritus who used the now discredited concept of “junk” DNA as proof of Darwinian evolution.13 Another article from 2015 celebrates Darwin Day, giving typical Darwinists’ non-answers to support the idea of Darwinian evolution – equivocating on the term “evolution” and using a question begging epithet in calling Ken Ham “anti-science.”14 Bezos may not be that involved in the editing of the paper. But he certainly is not using this platform that he owns to promote a biblical worldview. His being complicit in the promotion of Darwinian evolution would explain his not having a biblical worldview on other issues, even if he professes to be a Christian.
